Luke Humphries produced a breathtaking display to deny teenage sensation Luke Littler 7-4 and be crowned the 202324 Paddy Power World Darts Champion.
The 27-year-old, who had never previously been beyond the third round at the Alexandra Palace, produced a sensational performance to claim the sport's biggest prize.
Humphries averaged 102.58 and hit 10 180s as he became the first player to win the World Championship without losing a set since Rod Harrington in 2015.
Littler, who had eliminated world number one Gerwyn Price in the quarter-finals, was making his debut in the last four but gave a good account of himself against an opponent who was simply too good on the night.
